CommuniFood

CommuniFood is a social application for those who wish to minimize Food wastage as a community in various ways. The application is intended for regular users and restaurant owners alike in order to create a collaborative community that helps itself and the environment. The application is written in Dart and developed on Android Studio.

Motivation

Food wastage is a growing global problem that's affecting our planet and each and every one of us.
Recent estimates says that food wasted in developed countries; like Europe and the United States can feed the whole continent in more than three times. The amounts of food wastage all over the world sums up to about 1.3 billion tons per year.
Our purpose in developing Communifood is to create a community of people that help each other and help the planet to face against food wastage at the same time.
